Established originally in 1993, Mastek UK is a subsidiary of Mastek Limited which is based in Mumbai, India.

Mastek Limited was founded in May 1982 and has been listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange since 1992. Mastek operates in Canada, India, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, United Kingdom and USA. We have six world-class delivery centres in India and Malaysia, as well as a global state-of-the-art voice/data network for delivering software application development, integration and maintenance services.

MILESTONES

• 1982 - First generation entrepreneurs Ashank Desai, R. Sundar and Ketan Mehta established Mastek in Mumbai, India. Sudhakar Ram joins the team in 1984.
• 1982 - One of the first in India to create software products
• 1990 - Subsidiary in Singapore is established
• 1992 - First to develop ERP in India
• 1992 - First Indian IT Company to issue shares at a premium price in the IT sector
• 1992 - Mastek USA (now known as MajescoMastek) is founded
• 1992 - Mastek UK is established
• 1993 - First Indian Information Technology Company to offer ESOPs (Employee Stock Option Plan)
• 1994 - Subsidiary in Malaysia is established

• 1997 - One of the first to venture into CRM services globally
• 2000 - First IT Solutions Company in the world to be assessed at P-CMM Level 3
• 2000 - Ranked 7th by AsiaMoney in "Overall Best Managed Companies in the Asia Pacific Region"
• 2000 - Among the first to be chosen by Microsoft to beta .NET
• 2002 - Chosen by Forbes as one of the "200 Fastest Growing Companies in Asia Pacific"
• 2002 - State-of-the-art Campus launched at Millennium Park at Navi Mumbai
• 2003 - Successfully completed the world's largest .Net project – London Congestion Charging

• 2005 - Signed the memorandum of agreement to acquire 15.5 acres of land at Mahindra City in Chennai. Mastek group’s first development centre outside Maharashtra, India
• Consistently ranked among technology companies in a "CLSA Study on Corporate Governance" for 4 consecutive years from 2001-2004 among 25 emerging markets including Asia, Eastern Europe, Latin America & South Africa
• 2007 - Sudhakar Ram appointed Chairman and Managing Director
• 2007 - Ranked 1 in Insurance Outsourcing in 2007 by the Black Book of Outsourcing
• 2007 - Mastek is amongst the first to ride the Third Wave of Indian IT

• 2007 - MajescoMastek acquires Vector Technologies
• 2008 - MajescoMastek acquires System Task Group (STG)
